Saturday Soccer

Molly had her first soccer game of the season today. Her team did well and won with Molly scoring 2 goals. Towards the end of the game she took a ball right off her face. Her glasses got jammed into her face and then fell to the ground. She was super brave about it but I could tell it hurt really bad. Poor thing! What do people with glasses do? Do they all wear contact lenses when they play sports? I don’t know if she is even old enough to wear contacts!

I got contacts super young for this very reason. I begged and begged my parents and promised to be responsible. Which I was :) I have a feeling Molly would be too!
Poor little girl; awesome that she scored two goals!
Sharon, we’re talking about the kid that lost her glasses for a month! LOL.
Lots of kids get sports goggles. Prescripton of course. We had to get Nash some for soccer although he didn’t need a prescription, just for safety purposes. It probably still would have hurt, but the glasses are way more durable. Just a thought.
My daughter got contacts at 10, but before that she had the sports goggles. They work really well, but can get steamed up! Cute picture and congrats on the goals!
