Soccer Girl

Look at our beautiful girl!  She’s doing really well at soccer this year and has been working hard at her practices.  Her team has been doing well too and they are currently undefeated.  Molly has even scored a goal in both of the last two games.  Woohoo!  This year she has been playing midfielder mostly with some time as a goalie and defender as well.

Twice a week Ben gets off early from work so that he can take Molly to soccer practice.  He helps coach the practice and then afterward he and Molly stay a little later to work on some drills.  He was so excited during the last game when he saw her using some of the things they had been working on.  I looked over and he nearly had tears in his in eyes which made me love him about 1 million times more than I already do, which is a lot.

After practices Molly and Ben often stop for a treat or to run errands for me.  It’s a fun thing for the two of them to do and Molly loves have some one-on-one time with her dad.
